Sophia Alexandrovna Glagoleva

An experienced, ballroom and former ballet dancer, Sophia began her education at the North Atlanta dance Academy in Johns Creek, Georgia whilst pursuing her ballroom competitive career simultaneously. Performing in numerous roles with the company’s Nutcracker, Swan Lake, and many other shows, she found her passion and life career. Additionally, attending summer intensives such as the Bolshoi Ballet Summer Intensive, Rock School of Dance, and the Houston Ballet Academy Summer Intensive, Sophia was able to compete at the Youth American Grand Prix at the age of 13 and 14, receiving top 24 in the contemporary division in Atlanta, Georgia. Shortly after, at 14 years old, Sophia was invited to train at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow, Russia. Upon completing her ballet, contemporary, and other severe dance training in Russia, Sophia was accepted to the Houston Ballet Academy, in Houston, Texas at the age of 15. Dancing with the professional division at Houston ballet, Sophia was additionally able to perform 32 shows with the Houston Ballet company Nutcracker and gain the most extensive dance training from the top company in the United States. In addition to obtaining her business bachelors and Real estate licensing, she professionally trains/competes  and coaches ballroom, ballet, and contemporary in California at the GC dance company in San Marcos, and for S&M dance in Temecula and Oceanside, Ca 📍-following her path and helping share her knowledge to those who walk into the studio.

Coached by Melissa Dexter and Giacomo Steccaglia, former 4-times Italian Champions as well as world championship finalists.
